January 8, 2005: Tesla and Frank Hannon

On New Year's Eve of 2004, Frank Hannon took the stage at
the Roadhouse as he had done countless times before.  In
front of a full crowd, Frank helped Sacramento welcome 2005
in true rock fashion.
He also introduced a demo of his latest cd by the Frank
Hannon Band.  "Angel" was on of the songs featured on that
cd and it became the first song to be featured on "Revival".

January 15, 2005: Megadeth

It wasn't long after the first "Revival" segment aired until I
received my first request.  Kathy, Larry and Jessie in Rancho
Cordova were diehard Megadeth fans and listeners of CWR.
This week featured Megadeth's latest release "The System
Has Failed".  It was difficult to choose which song to highlight
because the entire cd was
filled with incredible material but I finally narrowed it down to
"Die Dead Enough".  Other noteable tracks include "Back In
The Day"
and "Tears In A Vial".
January 22, 2005: Cinderella/Naked Beggars

Naked Beggars includes Eric Brittingham and Jeff LeBar of
Cinderella.  The song featured this week was called "No
More" from their self-titled 2004 release which Eric also
produced, engineered and mixed.  The band is fronted by Inga
Brittingham and is working on a new cd with a tour to follow.
However, they'll take a break this summer as Eric and Jeff
join up with the rest of their Cinderella buddies to take part in
"The Rock Never Stops" tour with Ratt, Quiet Riot and
Firehouse.
January 29, 2005: Y & T

One of the most requested artists on Chicks Who Rock would
have
to be Y &T.  Therefore, Dave Meniketti and his wife Jill were
two
of the first people I asked to participate in "Revival".  They
offered up several cds for me to listen to and it was difficult
to choose only one
song.  When all was said, done and heard I decided to
highlight
"Over Under" from the 2004 Unearthed, Vol. 2 cd.  Luckily,
there's
no rule that says I can't feature the same artist more than
once on "Revival" so I look forward to sharing more of their
newer material
with you soon.  In the meantime, make sure to support Dave
and check
out his website at
